1st Generation Interactive Set-Top-Box Receives Rave Review on Shanghai Oriental TV

AkoMedia successfully produced its first-generation interactive Set-top-box.

As a demo, the new interactive set-top-box with the voting applicaton has been successfully used in the 2004 Miss Hong Kong Beauty Contest TV program. AkoMedia has successfully demonstrated how the home viewers can now directly participate in the program - by casting their votes, access information on the program anytime e.g. the individual contestants’ material.?

AkoMedia’s owned-and-developed interactive system – DITVS, as China’s first digital interactive TV system platform has seamlessly integrated into our prototype digital set-top-box.? The set-top-box has generated a lot of attention and excitement from the industry.?

Shanghai Media Group intends to sign an agreement with AkoMedia to formalize cooperation between the two companies.? The set-top-box was introduced on Shanghai Oriental TV and received rave reviews.
